Wetmore School, Allegan Township, Allegan County, Michigan

Location: withheld since this is now a private residence.

Wetmore School (Allegan District No 4) was built in 1898 and is now a private residence. It is a red brick structure with a hip roof and a gabled roof over the front door and porches. At the top of the gable is a bell tower enclosed in lattice so no school bell is visible. It looks like there were probably 4 large windows on each side of the schoolhouse, in 2 groups of 2 on each side.
