Thompson's Corner School (Volinia District No 7) is soon to be restored. I hope this restoration actually happens and is a success. The school closed in 1954 and is now vacant. The school is located next door to Thompson's Corner Store. It's a wooden structure on a cement foundation with a flat (not corrugated) steel roof and a front foyer, with 3 large windows on each side. In later years asphalt shingles were put over the siding. No bell tower remains today, but who knows what the planned restoration might bring!
