Jessie School, AKA Jesse School or Baker School, is a wood-frame schoolhouse whose paint has worn away completely, exposing the bare wood to the elements. It was in use from 1867-1964 for K-8 education. This photo was taken 50 years after it closed and stood vacant. The owner is confident the schoolhouse will be restored. I hope they are right.
