Shepardsville School, Ovid Township, Clinton County, Michigan

Location: 43.00430, -84.42550, at 1210 N Shepardsville Rd, Shepardsville (east side of Shepardsville Road just south of Winfield Road).

Shepardsville School (District #3 Fractional) is a brick schoolhouse built in 1894 and used until 1964. It is currently used by the church across the street as the Good Shepherd Chapel and Hall. At some point (probably while a schoolhouse) a wooden front vestibule was added, and at another point (maybe after the church bought it?) a large rectangular wooden hall was added. Above the front door, the sign reads "Ovid - Dist No 3 - 1894".
