Rooks School (Bethany District No 5) has no remaining sign indicating it's year of construction or service. It has relatively modern siding, so I think the original building is hidden underneath. The bell tower is still intact but is empty. The two garage doors on the front of the building suggest it might be used for storage. I don't know whether the original schoolhouse was just the central portion with the steeper part of the roof (it seems to be in the correct proportions) and the two flatter-roof wings were added on, or whether the entire structure as it exists today was the original schoolhouse.
