Big Burning School, Colfax Township, Huron County, Michigan

Location: Withheld, since the school is still in use.

Big Burning School was built in 1891 and is still in use. It is a white-sided building with a red front, a bell tower, and playground equipment on one side. There are 5 rather small windows on the playground side, and the other side has an addition with 2 small windows and 2 more behind the addition. About 25 K-8 students are educated here by one teacher. The school has one computer.
