Rapson School, Bloomfield Township, Huron County, Michigan

Location: Withheld, since this is now a private residence.

Rapson School, built in 1987 on the same site as the original schoolhouse, once taught students of K-8 grades, closed in 2010 and is now a private residence. Instead of a bell-tower above the roof to house the schoolbell, this schoolhouse held its bell under the roof's eave.

Rapson School, now a private residence, in Bloomfield Township, Huron County, Michigan. Notice the unusual placement for the bell, under the eave rather than in a cuppola on top of the roof.
