Ubly School, Bingham Township, Huron County, Michigan

Location: 43.70700, -82.97911

Ubly School (Bingham District No 4) was built in 1897, according to the sign above the door, visible in the 1st photo below. I could find no other information about this school, but from inspection it is a rectanglar brick schoolhouse built on a fieldstone foundation with yellow brick and red brick trim. The front face has only a door, the school identification sign above it, an empty bell tower on the roof, and red brick used along the bottom, above the door, and on both corners. One side of the school has 4 large boarded-up windows with projecting red brick decorative arches above them. The other side is too covered by vegetation to see.
