D R&B Fractional District No 8 School was built in 1907. The school identification sign above the door reads "FRL. District No 8, 1907, Townships D.R&B". The name means that the townships of Deerfield, Rich and Burlington in the north-central part of Lapeer County joined their schools together, and this is the 8th school in their district. There are many very large windows in this L-Shaped two-roomed brick schoolhouse, but I've been unable to find any information about it other than what's on the school identification sign.
