Ebeling School (Shady Lawn School), was a one-room schoolhouse built prior to 1859 which is now an attractive and well-maintained private residence. I could find no information about when the school was actually built, when it was closed, or when it was converted. There is not much remaining in this house that looks like a schoolhouse. The sides have no large windows, and there is no remaining bell tower.
