Lowell/Sullivan Schoolhouse is located at the northeast corner of 28 Mile road and Gratiot Avenue. I have been unable to find any information about this schoolhouse, except that it has been recently renovated and repainted. It is a rectangular wood-frame structure, now painted bright red, with a roof-covered front porch. There is a single centered door on the front of the building, and 3 large and 1 small window on each side (the rear window on the east side has been converted into a second door). The 3 large windows lit the classroom, and the small windows lit the cloakrooms. There is a bell tower near the front of the peak of the roof, but I see no school bell inside it.
