Romeo Country School, Romeo, Macomb County, Michigan

Location: withheld since this school is still open.

Romeo Country School (former First Free Methodist Church, 1939) is a beautiful cobblestone schoolhouse that is still in use. There are three large windows on each side to light up the classroom, and it looks like the school has a basement. The entry door is unusual, being part of a square tower tacked on to the front of the building. There is no bell tower or visible school bell.
