The National Museum of Palazzo Venezia houses an extensive collection of paintings from the 13th to 18th centuries, marble and carved-wood sculptures, bronzes, terracotta, pottery, china, silver, cloths, seals, medals, glassware, tapestries, and enamels. I'm sure it's just my shortcoming, but I didn't find anything of interest here. I just picked the wrong museum for my interests.
