Death:January 15, 69 AD (assassinated by Otho)
Emperor:June 9, 68 AD - death

Servius Sulpicius Galba was the first of the four emperors who ruled in the "Year of the Four Emperors" after Nero committed suicide. He was murdered by Otho about 6 months after he was named emperor.
