TimeLapse Sunset July 21 2012, Oops, forgot to set the camera to a manual exposure, so the camera compensated for the setting sun and the time-lapse doesn't darken like the real sky did. Still, some good cloud movement.
TimeLapse Moonrise Aug 2 2012, I'd planned this for a week, then it was cloudy. The moon was still visible through the clouds, but the shots were way under-exposed. Also, since the building I planned for the moon to go behind was not lit up, it would just have slipped behind a big-deal dark edge. Luckily, it went behind a cloud instead; probably more interesting.
TimeLapse Moonrise Aug 3 2012, Second attempt at a moonrise time-lapse. OK, if a building doesn't show up, maybe a tree would be interesting, so I tried letting the moon go behind a foreground tree, which turned out poorly. Moon rises out of a cloud, low on the horizon. Not bad, but I need the moon to go behind something cool, like a glass skyscraper.
TimeLapse Sunset Aug 8 2012, Finally got a pretty interesting sequence of cloud movement. Notice also the distant people? And finally, got a good shot of the alien fleet firing phasers at the earth just before darkness set in.
