The Detroit Savings Bank, Branch #3, was designed by Wirt Rowland while he worked for Albert Kahn Associates, and was built in 1916. The address of the building is 6438 Woodward Ave, placing it at the corner of Woodward Avenue and Milwaukee Avenue, in the New Center area of Detroit. The solid temple-like structure projects seriousness and safety, promoting the public's trust. The facade walls are of smooth limestone. The front has a recessed entrance two stories tall with Doric Columns on either side of the central entrance door. A band of alternating flower medallions and swastika-like patterns frames the doorway, with "Detroit Savings Bank" proudly displayed above it. The Milwaukee side has nine two-story-tall narrow windows, however the building's windows have been covered by steel panels over the years.

The building was used by Detroit Savings Bank until at least 1956, then became Detroit Bank & Trust, then Comerica Bank. In 2022, the building is used by Anew Life Prosthetics and Orthotics.
