Marlette District No 2 School, built in 1896, is now used as the business of Karen's Massage & Spa. The building looks very well-maintained with a modern metal roof to protect it from the elements. It is a rectangular brick structure with a single centered front door and five large arched windows on each side, one of which is converted into an emergency exit door. No bell-tower remains. A 2-row arch of bricks is abocve the front door, and the window arches are formed by bricks radiating lengthwise from the top of the window. An interesting horizontal row of diagonally-placed bricks ties this schoolhouse to the nearby Marlette District No 10 School.
